Toyota City, Japan, June 28, 2011 — Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) announces its production, domestic sales and export results, including those for subsidiaries Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. and Hino Motors, Ltd., for May 2011.

- Minivehicle sales totaled approximately 32,400 units (25.7% decrease)

- 34.0% share of minivehicle market (0.1% decrease); first increase in two months

Hino

- Decrease

- Standard-truck sales totaled approximately 700 units (42.3% decrease)

- 42.4% share of the truck* market (11.5% increase)

- Decrease

- 35.4% share of market including minivehicles (9.5% decrease)

*Maximum loading capacity of four tons or more; excluding imported trucks
