Nissan’s newly developed hybrid system a new generation Xtronic CVT (for car FF) published a
Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, President: Carlos Ghosn), the environmental efforts to improve the fuel economy of vehicles with engines of the company’s new generation Xtronic for vehicles from 2.0 to 3.5 liter and the CVT, the hybrid system is now available for car FF.

1. New generation Xtronic CVT (2.0 to 3.5 liter Car)
New Xtronic CVT 7.0, world-wide as the CVT transmission ratio over 2.0-liter car (* 1) is realized, about 40% by reducing friction, CVT currently in its class compared with about 10% (* 2), improved fuel efficiency. The synergy achieved with adaptive shift control that driving at will, has achieved a good response to strong acceleration. In addition, low engine rpm at high speeds, and also improved quietness. The company, starting with 2012 models on sale in North America to a new generation Xtronic CVT 2.0 to 3.5 liters for this car, will launch globally.
· Achieve a 7.0 gear ratio range
By adopting the newly developed belt pulley to change the shape and smaller diameter shaft, increasing the ratio of the two pulley center distance without changing significantly, as the CVT over a wide gear ratio 2.0-liter car 7.0 has been expanded to world-class.
• The approximately 40% reduction in friction
Oil pump was downsized by reducing the amount of oil leaks. While adopting a newly developed low-viscosity oil, made improvements to be approximately 60% of the CVT components. Through these measures, and friction is reduced by about 40%.
• Adaptive Shift Control
Accelerator operation and handling, read the intentions of the driver from the vehicle speed control technologies to select the optimum gear ratio in every scene, enabling the running of will. In addition, linear shift control is adopted to increase linearly according to the vehicle engine speed during acceleration, and provides a direct acceleration feel.
2. The newly developed hybrid system (Car FF)
The newly developed hybrid system for FF vehicle is a scheme similar to the second clutch motors for hybrid vehicle systems FR. This system is built into the new generation Xtronic CVT clutch motor 2 1 system combines a lithium-ion battery and a 2.5-liter supercharged engine.Versatile yet compact system, the output of the 3.5 liter in line to deliver fuel economy in city driving high-speed driving to every scene. The company is starting a new car to be launched in North America in 2013 with a new hybrid vehicle system, will launch globally.
